Pupeteer not recording all the frames in the timeline

So I noticed that when I use pupeteer, it seems a bit "inconsistent" when it comes to registering the key frames. Does anyone know if the performance in the viewport (which is terrible because we're talking about DAZ Studio), affects the pupeteer? Or does it cleverly try to only record key frames that are relevant to the final movement?
Thanks.

Note: I'm having a hard time optimizing the viewport, by the way. Even using just two Genesis models if nothing else, on a more or less decent computer (i910900/RTX3090), performance starts to degrade quite quickly I don't know why.
