Great news!

We have created a new Documentation Center and have decided to open up an opportunity for the user community to participate. This will give all you writers, illustrators and editors a chance to help provide one of the most complete and user friendly Document Centers to date. Our goal is to make this the premier place to find Reference and User guides, Tips & Tricks, Recipes and How To’s for the DAZ family of products. We will initially put our focus on DS4, and will be moving to Carrara soon after. In the future we will add in Bryce and Hex as well.

We are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable users who can write small snippets in areas they are most comfortable. “Technical writer” is not a pre-requisite, nor is being a complete DS 4 expert. You will be able to pick and choose which areas you want to contribute based on your individual strengths and knowledge base. If you are a lighting guru, we want your knowledge on lights. Know how to create a pose preset? We have an area where you can contribute. Do you have a gift for laying out a scene? Create recipes for other users to learn from. Come in and share what you know and give the gift of knowledge to those who are still learning.

If you are interested in an invitation to the private forum where we will be working, please email me at katb @ daz3d.com and please use the subject line: "Documentation Invitation".

We look forward to working with you!

We are now placing all new README files in the DAZ 3D Documentation Center.

If you want to see these files you can select them from this page: DAZ 3D Documentation Center

For those who want to have a local copy for each product, you can export a pdf from each page and store the information where you desire. You can find this export on the upper right corner of the page, just below Hexagon | Bryce.

The plan is to have any and all documentation for DAZ 3D Products on this site.
