Hair distortion on shorter models (image comparison)

Hi. I used this tool https://www.daz3d.com/hair-converter-from-genesis-8-female-to-genesis-3-female in order to apply Gen8 hairs to Gen3 models.

I tried it on a particular hair and worked fine on Gen3 standard height models but as the model gets smaller (even if it is gen8), the ponytail begins to distort. What could be happening?

This is a commonly seen issue on ponytails, the culprit is the figure's AutoFollow FBM on the hair (in hidden properties)... You may use Rigidity Group to clear the generated morphs on the tails, or the simplest way is to parent the hair to the figure's head rather than fitting it to the figure.
