Hi there,

I like a lot of fantasy and "historical" outfits but what I do not like is, that a lot of these products have boots with High Heels. I know fantasy is fantasy but a lot of these fantasy outfits are leaned on past times and in the medieval ages I guess high heels where not widly used in the "medieval haut couture". So flat boots or with just little heels would be much better I think. Or boots with morphs for heels would also a good thing. I have such boots for V4, they have morphs for the heels so you can create a high heel boot or a boot with flat heels (sole)

I agree completely. Before anyone really wants to buy fanciful variations on things, we need iconic ones first. I see so many products I have to pass on buying because I can't foresee a use for them as a result of some incongruous aspect, like bare midrifts and high heels on period costumes etc. I'm sure they look great but they aren't very useful.

exactly and the problem is, that not every clothing item has morphs so we can fix them to use other boots for example, or other boots hasn`t such morphs and the textures are a second thing.

there are many great clothing products I do not buy because of the high heel boots, I do not like high heels very much, in reality not and also not in the 3D-world and I also prefer flat feed poses for G3F boot unfortunatelly most poses you get have just high heel feet poses.

  • Another vote for no or low heel options on more female options.  My cash has passed over many a promising outfit in the last 60 days because of this issue.  Also, I'd love to see a low cut silk slipper for both sexes.  Nothing but leather boots or metal armor get boring on a male fantasy character too.

I also click past so many promising outfits because of the spike heel issue.

I'm overusing the few flat heels I have.

  • I agree.  I can't imagine a huntress stalking through the woods on 4" heels.  Realistic footwear (and clothing for that matter) would be cool.

I stopped purchasing alot of the fantasy outfits because of the stiletto boot situation. I love some of them and the look of the boots and wish there was an alternative the stiletto heel.

Agreed. Women need to be able to walk on soft surfaces.

There is another thread on it, I guess you'll never make everyone happy one or the other, so the option would be nice.

It's fantasy.  If your heroine is battling trolls, orcs, or dragons are the heels that big of a stretch?  laugh

I'm going to venture to guess high heel more sexy outfits outsell the others.

I can tell you for a fact, having done Reenactment (ACW) High heels are not at all ideal. I soon swapped my cowboy boots for a trusty pair of Doc Martins.  And Cowboy boots don't have very high heels compared to the ones I wore when paying the Southern belle instead of being  tomboy and playing soldiers, but high enough to not be safe when dodging gunfire and explosions.

  • Add my voice to this request. I've passed on quite some outfits because of the highheeld Footwear. And since I am an impulsive buyer and put stuff in my cart because I like the promos - often without thinking if I will ever use it - that does say a lot.

The fact that fantasy creatures exist doesn't means it's easier to walk in the woods or muddy places in high heels... ;)

I'll whip up an enchantment on them, how would you like a pair of "Sexy High-Heeled Boots of Striding and Springing?"  laugh

  • Fantasy is bad enough with the heels, but you get a lot of it in Sci-fi too. Though at least low/zero gravity makes balance easier ..
