Short-movie, Science-fiction - TEKNA
Hello,
I realized a short movie with video, picture and 3D. 95% was calculated with Hexagon and carrara. For the 5%, it was Blender.
Sorry for the langage during the movie, but I didn' yet translate the french langage to English. On my to do list in fact.
On the Daz studio forum, I believe that's the important, first, it's to see the 3D renders mixed with video.
So, the Link and... enjoy !

great job - like it
Very professional and well done
did not understand a word
but
the visual action speaks for itself
Yes, in fact I could must do a translation indeed. . For my defense, that's only for the french movies contests.
Here, the interest is to mix daz softwares with video edition ( FCP7 & X, After Effect).
My experience now, with these domains shows two points : one good and one less good ^^
Good : With the render, the buffers are very usefull and efficient
Less good : for the compositing edition, it misses a function "camera mapping".
With these, Carrara would be able to translate camera and lights movements to After Effect. Very important.
A little test video to simulate an earthquake on the road with cars.
