Confused about wearable presets.

I would like to create a preset so that I can load a specific sets of items--like jepe's bodyhair--onto g9. But when I create the wearable, it requires me to include the G9 figure so that if I load it, it loads another g9 figure.

Isn't there a way to create a wearable that will just add the clothes or hair to the figure in the scene? What am I doing wrong?

When you select the G9 wearing the clothes you want to create the preset for, it can't be inside of a group. You will need to unparent the G9, select it, then file/save as wearables. Afterwards you can ctrl-z to get it straight back into its group.

If you select G9 before saving a Wearable Preset, G9 shouldn't be shown in the save options dialogue...

That was my problem. Thank you. I had the items selected, not the g9
