The Back Room

So it's a bit mean to hook a battery up to a steel chair but "The Boss" said to. Plus you only have to use it for extreme… interviews. But all kidding aside there are some really new and neat things going on here. Iray users will should be pleased, this set is designed to use Iray’s emissive light ability to actually light the entire scene, no other lights are needed. No spotlights or dome light or ant external source at all. All the lamps emit their own light as in the real world. Light streams down from the sky light and you set it for cool or warm or neutral with a preset.

Well, I hope you give it a try it’s a fun set with tons of possibilities.

Absolutely fantastic set!! I do have to ask that you stop releasing stuff that I want all the time though, it's really expensive!! ;)

On a serious note (and slightly off topic) some of your older sets seem to like iRay with minimal tweaking, "The Lift" got me a recognition in the September 2015 PC+ render challenge "Going Places" so thank you for the inspiration for - "Helevator - Going Down"

I'm sorry, we're still gonna have to shut you down: Smoking in the workplace is a clear violation of health and safety law, and there's no torture exemption request on file . . . Do your paperwork, guys! wink

KA1, Nice and congrats! Sorry about the production rate, the ideas just keep showing up and it’s hard to say no. If it helps, I do try to keep the cost down : )

I know you do and I for one do appreciate that, during the PA sale you were exceptionally generous with your pricing which again was very much appreciated :)

Looks good, textures and so, unfortunatelly just in Iray with emissive probs, so no match for me, I render in 3Delight

Well it will all work in 3Delight you just need to light it. So there is an advantage for Iray renders but it's not limited to that render engine.

Ah thanks for the answer, my question, what happens to the emissive probs in 3Delight? Will the "glow" or something like this? Have no idea how these props will look in 3Delight.

No probes, what I did was I made the glass in the skylight emissive and the light bulbs. You can easily just make them , the bulbs glow in 3Delight. They just wont be emissive.
