Posing multiple figures in a linear line up - Solved

Seeking any tips on populating/posing multiple different figures in a linear line up. I am trying to achieve a lineup of about 50 figures. Seven semi-decent-detailed characters, wearing different outfits, plus instances of characters. I am trying to make a wavy shaped line, like an S shape. Prefer it not be a straight line. I'm okay with doing multiple renders, just not twenty of them. Appreciate any thoughts, because mine are not working out.

A straight-forward go > use this product https://www.daz3d.com/flockit which can help you make it pretty quickly.
Or a free way > use Align plugin in DS. That'll take more time...
If you don't mind doing it by hand, you can do it fairly easy by using a guide.
Here is an example, although only with 20 +1.
I don't, and thanks for sharing. I do want distinctive characters, and I do need precision placement either within Daz or via multiple renders alteried in post-work. You nailed exactly what I need. If I do similar and in PS duplicate, flip, warp and blur into the nothingness of infinity, it should be perfect. Maybe to save time I'll dress everyone alike and overpaint outfits in PS.
I used, as I said a guide, as can be seen here.
If you want it, it is attached as an obj file. Must be imported in scale 10000%.
