[How to adding bones to strand based hair?] It's not the same as a mesh hair.

    The SBH you made with SBH Editor ? If so, you have no way to add bones to it no matter with Joint Editor or Transfer Utility. You have to generate PR hair firsly then export it to a static mesh OBJ. Import the hair mesh then rig it. But after these process, the hair is not an SBH anymore.

    If you cant do with bone weights, you could perhaps add a bone as a driver/controller of a morph for the hair, but at that point why not just use the morph from parameters rather than bone?

    You have this hair and want its bangs like that ? or you want the bangs of other SBHs like that ?

    If you mean the former, there're bang curl morphs on this hair, just dial them.  If you mean the latter, Daz users can only deform SBHs by using d-Former (move, scale, rotate...)...
