Daz Studio Pro- version 4.22_hair on G1 = aberration

hello,
some time ago, when updating from version 4.15 to 4.22, I discovered that some G characters and their hair no longer fit on them. Like the attached photos, (black background) it's the original scene made 3 years ago. The photo (purple) is the same scene opened with the update to 4.22.
Note that my figure here features morphs via Goz! I mention this because when I apply this hair (Duke hair) to a basic character; David5 or Basic Female for example, it's perfect!
and then when I apply my own shaping to David5, the hair “explodes” like in the purple photo.
I still work a lot on G1, it's true.
thank you for your insights

Have the custom morphs been saved as morph assets, or are they embedded in the file still?
they embedded in the file still!
they are part of the figure (Chad).
Parameters/ “Chad” (his name)/ Zbrush = they're listed here
Had a similar issue in the past. In my case I fixed it with the joint editor tool. Basically, in the joint editor, select the Hair as node, then, for each bone untick 'inherit parent scale' (excluding head). So other transformations for neck, chest, etc won´t affect the hair.
DS has sometimes had trouble with embedded morphs, it may be worth saving them as morph assets (use a different content directory in the list at the top of the options dialogue for File>Save As>Support Assets>Morph Assets, adding one first if need be, so you can keep them separate from shop morphs)
it's true that via join editor and involving only the head of the scene subset improves, they are less “burst” but it's still not that. i also notice that it only concerns this hair :
Duke
SallyMae
SWAM\Kono Hair
SWAM\Pyrit Hair
SWAM\TaylorHair
maybe some editor corectives to think about.
I'm also trying another directory for morphs and presets/shapings.
full thanks for your until lightnings
Yes, it's the presets created on the Genesis 1 that cause this on the hair, but unfortunately also on certain items of clothing!
I did a test, loading a basic character, on which I put the hair ( Taylair hair here). fit on the face etc..
Then I loaded one of my presets; a pose. And there, the hair leaves David5's skull (as in the attached photos).
So I said to myself, and in Edit mode, I'd delete the presets one by one. No, it didn't change a thing.
However, after applying a “basicMalePose”, the hair magically returned to the character's skull.
We'll have to look a little further, but let's hope that the Genesis 1s and their supplies are no longer obsolete because of the multiple versions of Daz, that would be a shame!
