Looking at recreating some 1920s-1930s downtown Manhattan scenes and I really want an Empire State Building or something like it. Any recommendations?

It won't help with the Empire State Building, but 1920 City Street covers a lot of other bases.

Depending on what you want to do with it, I would recommend the Empire State Building in the Renderosity Free Stuff or the $5 US one in Renderhub.
