Daz 4.6?

I see references to it everywhere yet I'm only able to install 4.22 in DIM. While I realize 22>6 in software versioning numbering generally 3+>22, since the hundredths place is a subversioning number. So is 4.6 considered 4.06? Then why is the SDK still labelled 4.5 and not updated to 4.22 or 4.x? I've been looking all over for 4.6 as I can't get simulate to actually do anything without throwing an error after it loads all parameters and begins.

4.5 was the foundation of DS versions that have come since then, which is why the SDK is still labeled 4.5. 6 is not greater than 22, because subversioning is indicated with additional periods. DS4.6 is Daz Studio version 4, subversion 6, whereas DS4.22 is version 4, subversion 22. Leading zeroes are optional.

  • Versions numbers have four parts - major version.minor.version.subversion.build - all of which are integers. 4.x is just an abbreviation, it certainly isn't a decimal.
