[Released] Oso Robot Servant for Genesis 9 [Commercial]

Beep boop beep

Oso Robot Servant for Genesis 9 | Daz 3D

I've wanted to do something like this for ages, but often struggled between goals that pull in different directions: I wanted a figure that could take G9 clothing, props, and poses, but looked like a reasonable robotic figure. But also wanted to make artificial materials look reasonable when flexing.

I have achieved a balance, I believe, with this figure. A robotic human-like head, but also option for a more artificial helmet head. With a very flexible screen for added options.

I have many more ideas for additional products for different heads and limbs. Compatible, but usable as standalone products.

Thank you for your support!

I've added a Helmet material preset 'Oso Robot Servant Helmet Default With Screen Image' to make it easier to jump to a glowing helmet screen, which can then be tweaked.

Hope that makes things a bit more sensible!

That makes for an easier alternative start.  Thanks.

Thank you! I really hope to build on this.

Working on something else right now, but after that I hope to do a set of variant machine heads.

Man I love the Robot Servant.

I couldn't think of something cool to use them in so unfortunately made them a crazy robot God named "OSO the Great" in a Space Crimes poster like thingy.

    OSO the Great!

I love that you create unique characters such as Oso Lechuza.  It really opens up the possibilities and imagination for Daz Studio.

When I was a little kid my parents would ask me what I wanted to do when I grew up.

    'Make monsters!'

Welp, finally got my wish. :)

  • Hey, just wanted to say that I love this and would insta-buy any additional textures, particularly anything with more of a steampunk feel.

Nice render, curious pose. It immediately reminded me of lou_harper's request to end knock-kneeism. :)

Awww, thanks; after my current project I hope to make a bunch of new helmets/heads, and other enhancements down the road.
