Hi everybody,
I was thinking abour doing a scene for Halloween wich would be an adaptation of Countess Bathory.
I would need a blood bath ( tub, preferably old, blood,etc...) and Full body bloody skin texture.
It will be with G8F.
Would you guy have any idea or recommandations on what I should try ?
In advance , thank you x 10000
Cheers !

Would something like this bath tub fit?
Hi !
Nope, unfortunatly : it's got to be more "victorian", keep in mind that she was a countess, so I guess that it should be a castle bathroom
Something like this could work but it's too " Roman" : https://www.daz3d.com/the-domus-of-victory-bath-and-triclinium
Imagine this but in a Victorian manor or something like that....
I also found that, but it's far too dirty..https://www.daz3d.com/killzones-the-bath
The bloody water is good though
Here's an image ( in attached file) for ref.
That's the idea...
Hmm, I thought ou wanted a stand-alone tub, not plumbed in. (Barthory is something like sixteenth century, isn't she? I would suspect even for the rich the tubs would be wooden rather than the copper or cast iron tubs of Victorian times.) If you want it clean just using a metal or porcelain/enamel shader should work.
This is interesting for the skin : https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-blood-n-dirt-for-genesis-3-female-s
I have to find the equivalent for G8F or convert it hoping that it will fit ^^
If you want something that is historically and regionally correct, you'd be looking for a solid metal tub with heavy legs and a high-raised back, as porcelein tubs weren't a thing until the late 1800s... three hundred years after Bathory. Merlin Studios has a great one hidden in their Medieval Tavern set over at Rendo, but that's a pretty pricey set for just a tub. The closest that I know of at DAZ is the one that's included in The Black House - Bathroom and Restroom | Daz 3D by 3D Style, which would work fine with the fixtures removed and a brass/cast iron/or gold metal shader. Causam's Victorian tub, which is sold over at Renderhub, is probably a bit closer and there's a freebie at ShareCG Victorian Era Inspired Bath tub - Poser - ShareCG. If you want to go for spectacle, though, and Bathory was as wealthy as she was evil, you might want to consider something like a shallow marble pool or font... which was used in the fictionalized Hammer film about Bathory, COUNTESS DRACULA, or maybe even a half-wine vat.
Another option for the time period could be a stone tub. Could be modern bath shaped or round like a squat barrel. Should be easy enough to make your own in Daz and throw on a stone shader, and the stone could really bring out the horror of the scene.
Note, though, that the legend isn't that she sat in a bath of blood. Rather, it's that she bathed in blood, and bathing usually meant a jug on a washstand. Or a servant using that jug and a cloth to wipe you down while you stood in a tub. Depending on how historically accurate you want to be.
I accidentaly removed the picture....Here it is for reference.
And yes Cybersox, https://www.daz3d.com/the-black-house--bathroom-and-restroom looks very damn good !!
Here's my choice for the bathtub : https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/151376
Hopefully you already have it then. That's one that I didn't mention in my list because it's no longer available for sale... IIRC, it got pulled a while back when Pamawo purged a lot of thier older products from Rendo. It MIGHT possibly show up here eventually, but if so it'll most likely be part of a larger bundle of all the Steampunk products in that series...
Not a tub, but maybe something that could lend itself to a horror scene.

You can get that exact same tub in this set: https://www.daz3d.com/insalubrious-sanitary
I have noticed several, single props of Ansiko sold by Pamawo at Rendo in the past. Given the similar promo styles, I just always assumed they are business partners.
How about this tub?https://www.daz3d.com/boho-cottage-the-bathroom.
I just want to thank you all for all the pricious infos !!
Cheers !
