Daz Store: Tracking Unpurchased Required Products for Purchased Add-on Products

I have been thinking about this one for a while now. Feel free to add to it.

Problem: Unfortunately, it's common for add-on products to be on sale while, the required product for that add-on isnt on sale. This results in many Daz store users purchasing add-on products while they are on sale, and holding off on purchasing the required product until that's on sale. Currently, there is no Daz Store Feature that allows users to track which required products they have yet to purchase.

Feature Benefits for Daz & Artist: The ability to upsale users on required products, which users need, in order to use the add-on product.

Suggested Feature: The ability to view a list of all unpurchased required products, that a user has already purchased add-on products for.

Feature Capabilities:

  • Unpurchased Required Product Notifications
    • Users recieve tailored notifications (email, Daz Store, etc.) when a unpurchased required products, that a user has already purchased add-on products for, is on sale.
  • Unpurchased Required Product Feed/Dashboard
    • Users have the ability to view all unpurchased required products, that a user has already purchased add-on products for, in a single page. Similar to how Wishlist Items are displayed on a single page.
    • Users have the ability to filter feed based on specific artist, genre, category, etc.

Apologies in advance if this has already been suggested......Also, typos happen.

Probably not too helpful but listing these in the store is a function of the Daz Deals plugin (Required Items checkbox). Although I agree it should be part of the native Store codebase.

Thanks for mentioning the Daz Deal Plugin! I wasn't aware of it until now, and will have to take a look at it. Having this as a native feature feels like a no brainer for Daz. Especially when it literally pays for its self, while being able to add value to Daz PAs, Daz Store Customers, and Daz Studio (excess funds can partially or fully fund new feature dev). With that being said, the Daz Store might have technical debt, which could limit Daz's ability to do this. I know for me, the Daz Store struggles to load and display (filters, product pages, etc.) products that I own.
