Can I get an older DAZ version back?

I just realized that I downloaded an update for studio and didn't want to do this as of yet.  This may have already been answered someonewhere and I may sound like a total newb, but is there a way to get an older version of DAZ 3D back, like say DAZ Version 4.22 back? or earlier?

The official way is to send a ticket requesting the older versions...

    Main rule:
Always download your stuff manually as a zip file.
By that you'd be able to return to an older version easily.

That's definitely right ! The Golden Rule: always backup DS installation package, relevant plugin packages before any upgrade.

I've requested older version around 2 years ago. Haven't had luck. When it comes to DS definetly you have to backup installer.

  • Is 4.23 safe to download? I seem to remember when Adobe Photoshop went subrscription and folks who had prviously purchased a license, downloaded an update, only to find that the features were now disabled unless you subscribed. I'd hate to find that such a hidden switch lutked in 4.23...

  • Where do you download the zip file from, please?

You have two options.  You can download zip files directly from your Product Library at DAZ3D (see first screen capture for an example) or you can set DIM to not delete downloaded packages after installation (see second screen capture).  You can then go to wherever those files are stored on your system and move them from there to any location that you desire.

    800 x 381 - 62K
    DIM.jpg
    800 x 593 - 123K

No feature was disabled in 4.23 "non-premier" version. There are actually quite a few new features.
