I checked my product library and there's no download, says all my daz programs are inactive.
On the 3D Software page for Daz it only offers the DIM option, so how do I get an actual zip file I can download and keep on my computer?
.
Ok got the other zips I originally asked for...now I need to know if G8 and Dforce Essentials were also upgraded and need to be downloaded?

Is there any chance that you might have been looking at an older version of Studio? What happens if you try this link?

That did it, thanks, now I have the downloads
Added to my first question and changed title to reflect this.
Genssi 8 Starter essentials has the AutoFit clone for Genesis 9, so that fitted items can be down-converted. Default resources has a number of issues, including FilaToon, the Filament toon shader.
Ok will grab them as well and I've been reading and seeing the filatoon renders and people's opinions about it, it's very much loved right now lol
I'm wondering if you can use dforce with this new filament?
Filament is just a name, it has nothing to do with being made of strands.
I'm not understanding your answer, what strands are you talking about? I was asking if dforce works with and looks good in filament, as well as filatoon.
Given that dForce is just a physics simulation, it'll work the same no matter how it's ultimately rendered. (However some strand based hairs are listed with just dForce in the name, they may need adjustment to work since as I understand it, some strand based hairs use iray curves, but you'd need to ask someone more familiar with such)
That depends on what you mean by "dForce". dForce hair that is strand-based does render in Filament and FilaToon, though I haven't spent much time with it yet. Cloth hairs and clothing will render exactly the same as non-dForce mesh hair and clothing in Filament/FilaToon, because they're the same thing as far as the renderer is concerned.
Here, for example, is Handsome Hair:
I have that hair wishlisted, it looks good both normally and with toon.
Thank you everyone for your information.
