Hi and Welcome to Animating a Keyboard using MIDI

Please find below a video link showing you how to get started

You will need Casuals great MIDIload script

A model Keyboard

You can get MIDIhelper here

After downloading I've renamed the MF2t xxxxxx to just Mf2t and placed it in the Program folder on the C drive I've then pointed

16  configs for the 88 key Wurkzell link added

    To use

    1. Obtain 88 key Wurkzell keyboard + MIDIload from Casual's site

    2. Check files with Antivirus of your choice

    3. Unzip to a loction of your choice

    4. Load Wurkzell keyboard into Daz Studio. I'm using 4.9 at this time

    5. Select whole Wurkzell Keybord model

    6. Ensure you have loaded MIDI text file

    7. Using Load locate the unzipped Config files and choose the one with the MIDI channel you want to use

So if it's a instrument on channel 1 then choose the channel1 text file config. Once its loaded push into timeline once

    Hi,

I found your discussion because I am interesting to animate a piano keyboard.(Protozoon's Grand Piano).
    In your discussion, you tell
"You can get mf2t here http://matsp888.no-ip.org/~mats/software/winunix/midi/mf2t/"
    but the link is broken.
I found the new version of mf2t for several OS at this address : https://pieter.vanoostrum.org/en/midi2text-mf2t-t2mf/
I thought it will be usefull for all.

    Best regards

Hi Thank you for the update

I'd make sure the names of the mf2t file is the same as the old one other wise it may not work in the progrm

    Good luck with you animations

    Kindest wishes

    Keiron
