Doberman Strand Fur for Dog Nubis *Refuses* to fit the dog.

I've gotten it to work ONE time. By manually parenting it, but that was it. Now, it loads in unparented, and even if i parent and fit it, it still stays in zero-pose and REFUSES to actually attach to the dog ... what am i doing wrong?

Firstly check if you fitted Fur to Nubis in Misc > Fit to. (screenshot 1)

If you did it correctly but the Fur is still far away, select the fur, enter a value in X Translate property, then Undo, the fur should be back in place on Nubis.

Well, i managed to get it to work by just saving the pose, and deleting the dog, and loading in the *Doberman* character, (not base nubis) ... seems it just won't attach to base nubis, but attaches to the doberman just fine (which was the case on the one time i got it to work, i just didn't notice it)... it's odd, because doberman isn't a standalone character, it's a morph >.<

It would help if you didnt truncate your screenshot like that, so we could actually see what the object type is.

From crosswind's screenshot, that appears to be a SBH from the icon, so you definitely should not be parenting that. If you parent it, it will do weird things.

You can go to paraemters of the hair and make sure it is fitted to the dog like crosswind's post above, and if still doesnt fit to the dog in viewport, then you can toggle the 'apply transforms' option on/off or off/on.  The apply transforms option just needs to be toggled to "refresh" the hair.  I dont know why it's like this, i think it's a bug but has been like this since forever.
