I exported CR2 from Daz Studio and Imported into Poser 13

I used Daz Studio 4.23.01 to export a Genesis 9 character as CR2 format and imported them into Poser 13.
I also tried with FBX exported from DS adn imported into P13. Memory utilisation seems better with FBX format, while CR2 from DS cuases lagging. My GPU (Nvidia) does not heat up so the lag must be processing happening on my CPU.
I had to tweak some of the material settings. I did not add SSS, Bump, nor Displacement (these do not come over during the conversion).

The full render using SuperFly, my own 360 HDRI and one distant light. I emphasise:I did not add SSS, Bump, nor Displacement (these do not come over during the conversion)
Interest experiment. I wonder what applying the free eZSkin 3.2, to the export's skin, would do?
I had forgotten about that utility (been 2 years since I last used Poser software)
I did manage adjust the surface settings of the FBX version of G9 exported from DS and imported into Poser13.
I made this video about Genesis characters in Poser. I've found it possible to bring all of the Genesis (from 1 to 9) into Poser 13 as FBX. Daz Studio exports top quality FBX characters and Poser 13 is excellent at importing them, so it's a marriage made in heaven.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUngaJIsjic
So I need to pose in DAZ and export, or can I still pose them in Poser? I never tried this.
It's more challenging to pose inside Poser 13, so pose your figure and run your simulations before exporting the FBX. It's not impossible to pose the FBX import inside Poser 13, just more work.
ah ok, thank you :) I will have a look at this :D
yesterday I tested with G9, well as FBX I find it very difficult to use in Poser. I ended up by exporting as obj and it went great :) btw EZskin is working on Genesis, you only need to create a preset manually. The outcome was good, not like a DAZ render, but it is still impressive. The eyes were not posable, so I made them transparent and used prop eyes I had in Poser, they also went trough EZskin very well. I will show the image here if I loaded it into my gallery :)
I still struggle to use DAZ, I think we will not become best friends XD. Do I need to load any morphs before using the G9 character? How do I give them a simple base expressions, or do I need the expression Pack für Genesis?
How can I export as CR2?
