One object slows the movement of sliders?

I added one item that is the cause of sliders lagging when I try to edit morphs.

When removed I can use sliders smoothly and nothing goes wrong, it's only when this specific one is added.

Is there a common reason for this?

I read other posts but they seem to be more orientated towards constant lag or other, which isn't my issue.

Could be the HD settings but without knowing what item you are talking about any ideas would pretty much be speculation.

I've had something similar happen. The culprits have been hair models that really bog everything down. A few of them even have settings to use while you're putting the scene together in order to avoid using up system resources.

This is usually the reason when I have the lag issue. Another common culprit is items with the smoothing modifier on that have the interactive update property turned on.

If the item you are referring to is hair then click the hair and scroll down in the parameters until you see Viewport Line Tessellation Sides and set that to zero.

If it is a clothing item, go to General and select Mesh Smoothing and make sure Interactive Update is off. You can also just turn off smoothing with the top button while you pose, then go back and turn it on. This can help if the iterations are set high which can also affect performance.

    Hope that helps.
