Please critic, I can handle it, good or bad :)
If you add them here, by using the attach button, it will be easier for people to do that.
Like Chohole said if you were to bring them into your posting you would have more peeps popping in here and commenting

Dropped bad images..
Well, you add the attachment, and it gives you a thumbnail,, like this. Clicking on the image brings it up full size.
You can then use that to turn them into in line images. I will show you that in the next post
1) click on thumbnail to bring it up to full size.
2) right click on the image and then select Copy image location
3) go to insert image from the Rich Text editor above
4) click on that and add the image location from the previous step here
Regulate the size for forum display here
Thanks...
New Image ..
WOW is all I can say about this hawt render, very sexy ladies!!! I would add some inside lighting though to make your ladies pop out even more, like adding some mesh lights with some radient liner lights inside them or some spotlights on some of the ladies and some on the water to make it sparkle a bit.
Saphirewild Saphirewild,
Thanks,
I will be playing with lights more... all lighting was from the Environment light.
I do not know what you mean, or these are, "mesh lights with some radient liner lights inside them"..
can you provide a link to something so I can look it up :)
Same Light Source, but added a skylight...
Your request is here mesh lights for the ceiling once you get them into your scene where you want them then you can put radient liner lights sorta inside them or right under them to give off a nice glow around the room lighting it up a bit more you can pay around with the lights intencity as well to get it to the way you want the lights to look
here is a link to this months newbie contest which is in fact about lighting so you can check all the tutorials there and ask questions about your render:

Playing with low lights, I do notice that on one of my screens it's darker then the other.. So a bright screen to enjoy :)
Currently trying to work on a darker one that will be taken as a camera flash, but 6hr renders are still producing to much noise :/
I will have to go longer!! heh
Some are quite good-- the indoor well lit natural scenes.
Some aren't -- the outdoor "two warriors face a dragon"
Its all in the lighting, shading and textures.
"Dragonpost2.jpg" -- pretty much everything looks wrong. The dragon has no texture, is lit by a spotlight from the left which doesn't match the rest of the scene lighting. . . by contrast, the gal lying on her bed with the iPhone is well lit, good textures, looks good.
The cruise ship kayakers being attacked by sharks while one gal tries to snap a photo is very funny, but needs better light.
Thanks for the reply, I will work on the dragon lighting.. it's all actually IBL, and glows from the weapons.. as for the skin, it looks awesome close up, I prolly need to increase the bump map and see it that helps...
As to the Kayakers, do you mean the bright or the low light, or both need better lightning? I am trying to work on my low lightning more, and throw in a brighter version with them just incase anything gets lost...
again thanks for the comments :)
Nice Work!
Just a few suggestions- in the image with the girls in the pool, You could try putting some motion blur on the girl jumping in, otherwise she appears to just be sitting there above the water. It would also be fun to have one of them reacting- anticipating the jump, by pulling away.
What you could do is add a light source to the side where the sun is, to create a few more shadows and then add some rim lighting onto those figures to make them stand out a little more.
- The dragon image is interesting, but there needs to be some more ambient light. The shadows on its underbelly are a bit too dark for the day time. You could also angle the light so that it hits just behind the dragon, and casts a nice shadow over the warriors. That would give a greater sense of danger.
You can also try adding some depth of field, to keep your attention on the action.
- Same thing with the shark attack scene. That is such a fun scene, but if I had to give a crit, I would say that there isn't really a focal point. So by blurring the woman in the front slightly, and the background quite a lot, your eye will be drawn to the action. If the woman in the foreground is the action, then you can slightly blur everything but her.
With the night scene, you could try adding some lights to the ship as well, and a silver light from the moon shimmering on the water, just behind everyone. You can use that to give some more detail to the objects that are further back and make everything stand out a little more.
- The hanging scene is also really moody. I like it, but I think my monitor is also too dark to really appreciate it. What you could try is to add a little bit of blue lighting to the scene, to contrast against the orange flame. This is a little trick you always see in movies, and it will give everything a lovely 3d feel, and really make those flames pop.
- With the first woman on the bed- the one where her back is turned to us, you could try putting a light just above / in front of her, to make it look like the light from the window is just touching her a little more / seeping over her.
You should also try blurring the woman in the foreground slightly, just to keep your focus on the bed.
- Finally the girl on the bed with her phone, (Dark image) should have a bit of light shining off the phone onto her face and body. If you give it just a subtle effect, it will make the image look amazing. Once again, the woman in the background should be blurred IMHO.
With the light image, I would once again add a slight blur to everything, but her and her phone, to keep your attention there.
Over all, very good work. Well done.
Hi friend, very good creative ideas/lighting thus far. In the image I attached, I notice two abnomalities. #1 Is female sitting or jumping into pool ? If jumping into pool, the pool is to small, water is to shallow. #2 Female laying on lounge chair, is not posed properly, she doesn't look relaxed, her body is stiff opposed to conforming with the curves of the lounge chair.
If you haven't read, Szark provides tutorials to assist beginners, in composition, etc...... Have fun with your creations.

Cool, I love the ideas mentioned, and will try to find time to give these a little more work and see how they come out :)
