Shape and pose converter for Genesis 9

This would be a time saver if we had a product that would take the shape and pose of a Genesis 8 or 8.1 figure and transfer it to a Genesis 9 figure.

It would be nice if it transferred clothing and hair etc as well.

1 click and presto!

There's no 1-click solution bit there are individual products to convert shapes, poses, clothes...

  • There are a number of G8F/M to G9 pose convertors. At least two are free, one is mine here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/598316/g8f-m-pose-transfer-to-g9

The products for shape and pose converters are great and Daz's own autofit is the best solution for converting clothing IMHO.

But a one click solution would still be nice!  laugh

Select the Gen 8 or 8.1 figure and then select a Gen 9 figure and one click and everyting is done.

Saving out a custom pose, then converting shape, proportions and then moving all of the clothing, hair, prop assets can be a time-consuming effort.

If a script opened and you could select, shape, pose and/or clothing this would be a game changer.

The tools have been made to do this, they just need to be unified into one end-all product.

The clothing does not really need to be "converted" they just need to be autofit.

This looks like a great script! I wonder if this script is the basis for the in-store products that convert poses either in bulk or on-the-fly?

  • I really don't know. I do doubt it, though. My programming is not very efficient, it uses the brute ignorance & force method to do things - most programmers write programs that are much more elegant, efficient & more difficult to understand.
