Daz Store Search

Hi all,

I know Daz store search has always been a bit hit or miss, but lately it seems downright broken. The one part of the search that I always found worked reliably was the SKU search - pop in the asset number and voila - the asset page was found. Now it finds nothing. I have no filters selected, issue occurs with all browsers, I have no Daz browser plugs installed. Is this a store issue or have I somehow messed things up on my end ?

I did a bit more experimenting. Seems to not be all SKU but random. And seems to relate to all refernces of a product.

Example:

Phx Liam by Phoenix1966. 

I tried a search for PHX - I get 11 entries - 9 by Phoenix and 2 Daz originals - Liam not listed.

Search for Liam - 6 entries - only 4 have the word Liam in the title. Liam by Phoexnix1966 not listed.

Good old SKU search - 105609 - nothing listed at all.

If I do a filter search selecting Phoenix1966 as the artiost I get a list of all 18 assets including Liam. Funnily enough if I do a google search by either the asset name or the asset SKU it finds the correct page.

If anyone reading this can do the above searches and let me know what they find it would be greatly appreciated. It is almost like some assets have not been indexed and hence are not found.

sort by new arrivals: 5 results

sort by relevance: 17 results

sort by new arrivals: 1 result

 

Phx

sort by relevance: 17 results

sort by new arrivals: 11 results

 

Phx Liam

sort by relevance: 28/53 results (NONE ARE RELEVANT TO PHX LIAM!!!)

 

 All searches failed to show Phx Liam. The store search has been terrible for a long time. I'm not sure how their search queries the database or whether the CDN affects your results. If you look at the "Phx Liam" search, you'll either get 28 or 53 items. Using a search engine like Google and Bing shows Phx Liam as the first result.
