How to get Bryce 7

I used to have Bryce on my old computer but I don't have it anymore.
I have a few addons in my install manager (purchased in 2020) but they need the actual program to be installed first.

I have also just purchased "Bryce Pro Content" thinking that I was buying the base program, but it is also asking for the path to the actual program. So my bad I guess... I purchased the wrong thing.

So the question is simple: Where can I get the actual Bryce 7 base program?

Thanks Richard, that is precisely the file I have purchased and downloaded.
I first tried to install it with the install Manager but it couldn't find the correct path to install.
I then tried manually and got this message (see attached image).

I'm gonna sleep on it tonight and see what more I can do in the morning.

denisnormandin - welcome! Bryce must be installed like any program, just launch the file. Daz Install Manager (DIM) is for Studio only.

That looks as if you are instaling the content, not the application (they are separate isntallers, each in Mac and Windows flavours.

    Thanks again Richard,

I looked again at the link wou provided and, though it points to a page that looks very much like the one I had already downloaded my files from (https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_11034), it was different. The application was not on mine, it was on yours.

I tried again to find the proper item in Daz store by searching fro 'Bryce 7 pro' and the first item that comes up is in deed 'Bryce 7 pro' at a special discount price ($14.37). But clicking on the product's icon leads to https://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-pro, a much more expansive bundle including the 'Bryce 7 pro' at also a -35% discount price but for a total of $42.24. I didn't want that, so I went back to the Daz store search results page and added 'Bryce 7 pro' to my cart from there. Then... all the above.

So I guess that the root of all this comfusion is due to a mistake from Daz store.

All sorted out now, thanks to you for providing me the right link for the right files.
    :D

P.S.: Now the Bryce application launches but it requires some registration information. Since the item I have purchased is apparently not the right one, I don't know what to enter there or how to get it or actually buy the right item (Bryce app).

  • Thanks again Richard

Bryce is now up and running... Now I just have to remember how it works.
Thankfully there are tutorials for that on YouTube.
