Good-bye! Closing my store at the end of 2024 (EichhornArt)

Hi folks,

I just wanted to let you know that my store here will be closed at the end of this month and year.

Due to health and private related issues (nothing too serious but still!) I have somehow lost my creativity and I can't create more products.

My last product was released in April and I have noticed that I have mentally come to an end regarding my 3D creation process.

So - just this quick note so that nobody worries in case they notice my products gone - it was my decision :)

Thank you DAZ, for giving me this wonderful opportunity and more thanks to all of you who encouraged me, supported me and most of all, liked my products!

It meant and still means a lot to me.

I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart.

Have fun creating, rendering and thank you for everything!

So sad to see you go. I really like your products, but I know how you feel and go through similar here. It's been quite some time since I made a product, so the wife is holding down the fort making products. I wish you the best of luck.

You will be missed. Looking at my library, I see that I'm lucky enough to own several of your excellent products.

Best of luck in all your future creative projects (and everything else).

I hope the health issues work out and that you find another outlet for your creativity that you'll enjoy.

Have you approached DAZ about buying your products or having one last promotional sale?  I little extra cash is always handy.

    Good luck!

You should've seen her V4 characters---way ahead of their time. Thank you for all the beauty! Vaya con Dios.

  • Agree with all the comments, I've been a long term fan and love your style (and wish I'd gotten more of your things from Rendo too); your characters and clothing styles were and are fabulous, colorful, unique, and always detailed and worth it!! But I do understand - been feeling much the same and economy's not making it worth the time these days. Hope your health improves, and best wishes to you!

I don't understand why you are withdrawing your products though. Do you have to do extra work even after they have been in the store for a long time? Seems like it would be all work free income now that the products are in the store already.

Yes, wondering about this too. The products could remain in the store if you're not planning on moving them elsewhere. Or maybe do a blow-out sale. I'm sure many people still want to buy your products. Or if you're feeling generous, give them away as freebies. Seems like such a waste of nice products that artists could enjoy using...

  • Second that. Own half the products offered. So I final blowout sale would be nice. Don't now the conditions but guess that DAZ might charge a small amount for a PA store being up and running. Over at Rendo there are Clearance Sales every now and then. Since digital shelf space is rather unlimited I wonder if they might also charge their PA some kind of base fee. - Anyhow, wishlisted some EA stuff. Let's see if there is a full store sale between X-Mas and New Year.

Yes please, blowout sale! To see them off with a proper salute.

From comments I have read Rendo no longer delete clearance products, they remain available until the PA decides to withdraw them. This policy changed a long time ago. Their clearance sales are now just another sale.

The issue at Rendo is that, if vendors stop supporting products, they are no longer available for sale.  That's what happened with Ravenstone.
