Blender Genesis Importing, Posing and Rendering

Can anyone give me some help with Genesis figures in Blender?

One of the issues I'm having with importing is that, when I export from Daz, it exports two FBX files, B_FIG.fbx and B_FIG_base.fbx. Which one is which?(see image 3)

Second, character has a rubberish skin, as shown in the attached image when rendering with Cycles(looks way worse with Eevee).

Third, I can barely see the bones in some parts, as shown in attached image 2.

Hope you guys can help me in this. I thought about using aniMate, but it's annoying as hell, and I don't think the Timeline(Daz) would help me with it.

If you exported the figure with DTB bridge, and chose to Bake SubD, there would be two FBX file, B_FIG.fbx (baked one) would be used for being imported into Blender.

Then the Bones can be hidden in the settings of Overlay in Blender's Viewport... but why did you manually import FBX file instead of using DTB add-on ?

  • Seriously, I didn't knew how to use that addon. There were many times where I simply imported through the FBX importer instead.

Thank you so much for the help, man. It's much more simpler to do things through the addon instead of Blender's raw FBX import.
