fila toon skin to dark after converting

I use fila toon to get a comic style look on my renders (I convert all surfaces to fila toon), but skin always is very dark after converting. Is there a way to convert a light skin to a light toon skin?

I would first try to use via copy/paste pre-made filatoon shader materials from the DAZ 9 Genesis Essentials, from Vicky 9, from Mikey 9, from 3DU, the converter from V3Digitimes. Not the texture files in those panels, just the settings. If that doesn't work just use the filatoon texure materials, since it's toon details are intentially reduced and a lot of a character's uniqueness disappears and they start looking alike anyway.

Texture maps on quite a lot of characters with MDL shaders are "dark" as well as "over-saturation"... actually they're not appropriate for being used on anime and/or toon characters.

I usually retouch them in image editor by adding Curves / tweaking Saturation etc... so as to make them brighter...or simply use the maps from other anime characters.

So better firstly check the texture maps per se.
