How to measure the size of a DAZ Studio scene - Revisited

I've discovered the Environment pane in the Render Settings and the Environment Map parameter. When selected with Dome and Scene selected in the Environment Mode parameter, the Map parameter displays a window with a listing of file names that surely are the files called to the DS scene. Add these up (no, I'm not actually silly enough to do that) and one would have a good estimate of how big the DS scene is and whether it will fit in the graphics card VRAM memory. Does that make sense or am I being preposterous? Thanks to one and all.
