Organic Intelligence shaders???

Organic Intelligence shaders seems to be installed in the Runtime. After I moved it, I'm still not sure how to use it, no instructions or example files.

They seem to be shader presets, so select the object(s) and the surface(s) on the objects that you want and double-click the preset (or select the objects and hold down the cmd/ctrl key when double-clicking the preset, then choose the option to affect all surfaces instead of selected surfaces).

Ah, I see from the file list that there seems to be a packaging error - we will flag it up, but in the meantime just copy the Sahder presetsd folder from the Runtime folder and paste it into the base content directory (assuming you are on WIndows, mac users will need to copy the /Organic Intelligence Shaders/ folder across to the matching location under Sahder presets to avoid overwriting the rest of their presets).

Some of the promo images on the store page include text to explain how a particular effect was produced.

I have moved them, but don't see how to get the 3d effect from the examples in the listing.

    I don't have them.

But have you tried rendering. I would assume they use displacement.

You need to keep the Runtime/Textures directory where it is, only move the Runtime/Shaders directory.

The shaders use displacement for the 3D effect and this isn't shown in texture preview. Also you may need to increase the subdivision on some objects because Iray can only do displacement at the resolution of the mesh.If you are creating primitives then for planes and cubes increase the divisions setting, for spheres, cones and toruses increase segments and sides.

You are right something is wrong with the installer.

I have just copied the contents of the zip file to the Marshian subdirectory in Shader Presets.
