Genesis 8.1 to 8.0 to use the same poses?

Hello, lately I have been saving chartachers in scenes as pose preset to reuse custom poses, the problem is some characters are genesis 8.1 others are 8.0 and the saved poses for 8.1 are not working for 8.0.

Is there a way I can fix this or program that I can use to get the same poses to work on both 8.1 and 8.0?

Unless they're hierarchical poses, they should work fine for G8.0 (although using any face posing controls G8.0 doesn't have won't translate), although they may not show up in Smart Content.

Thats the thing, when I select the 8.1 in the scene the poses show in Smart Content, but when I select the 8.0 they do not. Is there somewhere else I should be looking for the saved poses other than Smart Content?

Unchecking "Filter By Context" will display all content regardless of the selected figure.

Content Library, at the file path you saved them under.

Or disable context filtering in Smart Content.

DS has the feature of backward-compatibility within a same major generation, i.e. Pose presets you saved with G8 can work on G8.1 (expressions cannot work as default because G8.1 uses FACS... you have to remove dummy 'blockers' in Base Pose Head and Expressions folders in G8.1 data folder)... but the other way round doesn't completely work especially with Pose Control properties.

So you need to save the presets with G8 rather than G8.1. However, if you just save Pose Presets with Transforms Only, you can freely use G8 or G8.1.

Edit: As for Filter by Context, it's based on Compatibilities. You can go to your Pose Presets folder in Content Library, right-click on the folder to Edit Metatadata, then add G8 Compatibility to G8.1's Preset files. (ss1) Then the presets will show when selecting G8.
