Creating clothing for Daz G8s and skins...

Heyas gang, I'm wanting to do a novella and need to create some clothing and skins for my G8 figures.  I've been using Daz now for 6 monthsand feel confident enough to make my own assets now, but being still new to rendering, I'd like an idea on where to start, please?  Awesome Daz community and support and hope to find new inspirations to make my lil projects come to life.  Thanks gang.

As reference, something along these lines.  Pardon my art style, It's a mix of Hanna-Barberra and 90s anime.  But now I want to do them as 3d renders and eventaully, animated.  Thanks again and have a good one.

There are some (admittedly short) descriptions how to make dresses. But from your drawing it seems  that you are going for a thight fitting outfit.
Maybe you can start for this with a geoshell for the body or the legs and  than work with textures.

That would be fine, or maybe draw my own "skin" to fit over the figure itself.  Not sure how to get and load a template to draw onto for the skin.  My experience (limited) with geoshells feels like a good possibility as well.  Thanks for the advice.  Any other options in using Hexagon to achieve this?
