How is it that there are so many products by Xi coming out. Its pretty much constant anymore. Are they ported over from somewhere else?

I believe it is a group rather than an individual.

  • Xivon is definitely one of my favorite PAs, especially for environments.  A lot of them are very low priced, too, which is also very nice.

Agree, that they are very talented.

On their official website, they say HBO, Warner, and DAZ are their clients.

I like them. They create lots of enviroinment that simply wouldn't get created otherwise. Also Enterables, sugatak, StoneMason, Polish, and a host of others.

I actually came to the Commons to ask about them...

I've seen a couple products that reference the XI Love Hotel, yet it doesn't appear to exist in the Store? What am I missing?

Opps! Sorry, it's one of DAZ's alternate sites (I'm not sure what it's used for, but it's supposed to be a Tafi/DAZ 3d site), here is a link to the DAZ3D store.

sometimes links get scruffy in them too if found through Google search

it's a weird website phenomenon only the web designer has insights on

I tend to be somewhere else on the spectrum with Xi's environments. There are a lot of things they use that make it difficult to see in texture view. Environments like the Futuristic Home Office have transparencies that make it impossible to see where you're posing things, and do the same in filament. Try to take a look inside the structures of environments like Barren Land and it all looks like static, you can't see where one piece of structure ends and the other begins. There are more than one environment where not only do the internal doors from one room to another pivot in the middle rather than at the hinge, but they and external doors are instanced. I also like to use Dimension Theory's Sketchy shaders (and tweak textures here and there in general), which makes another thing very apparent with Xi's environments: Anything emissive is complately baked into the texture, meaning if you want to keep the lights, you have to create a geoshell and track down all the light and masking textures.

I can't help but to have bought a few, but I generally don't like using them.

they work well in Unreal/Twinmotion Lumen though for just that reason

no overlaping UVs and the emission maps light the scene well with no need for other lighting

    so game engine optimised obviously

Or even just: https://www.daz3d.com/xi-love-hotel (not sure what the stuff at the end is but it's not needed)

likely the same explaination for Delorean

I was aware as it's been pointed out to me before
