Problem with Bend of the River product *Solved*

I know I've successfully used this product before, but I'm working with Bend of the River, and it has a bunch of the trees, grasses, etc. forcefully turned invisible.  I say forcefully, because no matter how many times I click the "eye", or go into parameters and try to change the view options, I can't get them to become visible, in viewport or in an Iray render.  I "fixed" some of them by unparenting them from the group they were in, but for some reason I can't do that with the trees.  I tried to unparent them, but they still didn't show up.

I can't find a ReadMe with the product, and when I try to go to the Documentation Center on the Daz site, I get an error >_<  Does anybody know how to make these things work?  As I said, I've apparently done it before, but I don't remember how I did.

    Thank you!!!  It didn't cross my mind to check the promos, lol XD

    That did the trick, odd that you can only do it from the group parent and not from individual items until it's unlocked, but I guess there is some reason for it?  Anyway, I feel stupid, but I can use my product, so it's all good!  I really appreciate the help ^_^

    No need to feel stupid.  I (and others) have been puzzled by this one.  It’s sad that the DAZ3D forums cannot be searched efficient and effectively otherwise you likely would have found the solution in the 2020 thread Bend of the River - need help please - https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/398326/bend-of-the-river-need-help-please#latest.  Regrettably, I don’t think the issues of searching the forums will change.  Bend of the River is a great product.  I bought it and Bend of the River Seasons several years ago.  When I got around to exploring Bend of the River, I encountered the same problem with how to make objects visible.  After much searching, I did find the thread referenced above.

    Well at least I wasn't the only one XD It is a great product, usually I use UltraScenery for outdoors stuff, but this time I just wanted something quick and simple, not custom.  I like having a few really nice environments in my collection for exactly that reason ^_^

    I would love to have that, trust me, but I don't have the money in budget to subscribe.  I really miss back when it was free, I used the "Only Show Wishlist Items" every single day.  It saved SO much time!  And the links to gallery and forum posts helped me make up my mind about a lot of products.  But I completely understand that they have to charge now, since Daz no longer lets them earn money here through the referral program (I believe that's what happened, but my memory may be fuzzy).

    The free version of DAZ Deals shows the Galley and Forum links for me, I'm using Chrome.
