Key Frame Glitch?

in New Users
I read other threads from 2014-2019 and was wondering if there is a fix yet?
i have finished my animation and it's great. Time to simulate, but now i can't add a key frame for the Y value of my model. I need them to start in the air at 0 and end in a laying position at 30. When I add a key frame and change the values, it automatically deletes itself when the timeline marker changes frames. Bug? Am I doing something wrong?
it worked at the start with my initial 0-30 sim. Then I keyframed 30-159 and now I can't keyframe Y before 30.

Welcome to hell. Sometimes you will find that a selection will not bring up the actual selection on the timeline or graph. Usually closing and reloading fixes this. Sometimes, you will have to enable all properties to be visible via the "hamburger" icon in the top right corner of the timeline with the "play button" icon. This is just one of them situations where you haven't sacrificed enough time tweaking for 16 hours straight for 3 years. Lock in.
Unfortunately, all the user complaints I encountered several years ago are present in the product today. There are an insane number of bugs and unpredictable behavior in the animations. The DAZ Studio timeline is a total nightmare to use and I believe the only solution is to use independent programs to create the animations and then import the result directly into DAZ Studio. Cascadeur has this function, but unfortunately only for the paid product. There you can create the animation in a functional interface with Genesis models, and then click on “export to DAZ”.
