Can’t fix broken prop, property collision (Solved)

I made a prop with 2 custom properties.

I had to re-make the prop (fix inverted normals).

So I loaded in my new fixed geometry, and then re-made the two custom properties.

I saved my prop over the old version, keeping the same name.

Later I discover that one of my two custom properties is gone - did not get saved.

The custom property that was a boolean toggle got re-saved fine.

The custom property that was an 3-position integer switch did not get re-saved and vanished instead.

I tried again, after deleting the prop file and the corrsponding data folder and rebooting Daz Studio. The problem persists in spite of this.

    There is another copy of the original prop, with its properties, in another diretory path of the Daz CMS. Could this be causing the problem?

    Yes, that sounds very likely.

    Sho' 'nuf. After I moved the original version copies out of CMS, my integer switch properties re-appeared on my new version of the prop, isntantly.
