I received an email survey with questions related to the Premier subscription.  This was the most interesting one of all:

It's a good opportunity to give feedback.  Check your email and fill it out!

I definitely gave them my thoughs regarding the Premium Plugins....

First question asks what membership I have, which is base. Second asks how satisfied I am with the free monthly character bundles.

I already filled it out. Definitely 100% interest in the discounted annual membership. I also mentioned that I would be interested in a "only pay for items you don't own" bundle sale so I would show that I own all the older character bundles because I had bought the Pro bundles.

I was glad to give them my comments but I was a bit surprised that this time we weren't offered any reward for completing the survey.

Yeah, no reward. I told them how I felt. Hopefully they will listen even a little bit. I did emphasize an annual discounted membership tier.

I filled it in too. If they listen to the feedback and restore the annual discounted option then that would be better than a reward coupon I think.

I also mentioned I was unhappy with all the corridors and hulking monochromatic "buildings" as the weekly specials and freebies. And then I added that I don't need any characters either. . .

Didn't have that question, probably because I'm not a Premier member right now. I got more "why did you leave us" type of questions.

Interesting. Seems questions were somewhat tailored. I added thoughts about needing an option for legacy D+ members to do Premier for a month without losing their remaining D+ months. Among other things. Especially the quality/variety of the freebies and the uselessness of the monthly coupons when other sales require coupon codes.

I mentioned the rather poor compensation I was offered for my 18 months of DAZ+ I had at the time, and obviously gave a 10 for the return of discounted annual membership.

  • joannajoanna Posts: 1,610

    Filled it out too.

Makes me wonder if Premier wasn't as much of a hit (or people aren't transitioning to monthly payments) that they are asking about yearly option for which people here had been asking since October.

But, on the positive, I appreciate Daz sending out a survey. My Daz+ membership expires in June, and I wasn't going to extend it. Depending on how things go until then, I might actually change my mind about it.

I gave my 2 cents. Now I'm short 2 cents. I'll need to check the couch.

I'm glad they sent this out-I think for Premier they need to make some changes for more people to really want it.  I say get rid of the exclusive content and either reduce the subscription price or give better discounts.

Daz surveys don't seem to make it across the pond anymore.. no

That sounds similar to the feedback I gave them.

    I gave 10 points on nothing. Mostly 8s and 9s. A couple of 7s.

    1) I indicated I was pretty happy with their membership offering.

    2) I indicated I'm happy with their coupons.

    3) I indicated I'm happy with their plugins although I've two left thumbs and don't have much talent as using them.

    4) I indicated I'm not very pleased with the freebies that give to absolutely everybody that seem to be usually 70% to 100% old texture products they haven't sold a copy of of 15 years.

    5) I indicate I'd be interested in a discounted yearly Premier membership although I intend to hold steady the $20 a month for this year at least. I've already budgeted it. I they try and raise it though...forget it. I'm about to drop/suspend Office/Copilot 365 monthly and NightCafe.Studio. These subs, they never stop reaching for more. Maybe the solution is a cheaper subscription, reasonably so, no fire sales please as they don't work, and a lot more subscribers.

    6) I didn't see an indication of a store credit, but whatever, the survey wasn't that long.

...filled it out and submitted as well.

Definitely on board with an annual Daz+ membership as long as it is priced similar to the old one.

I also brought up the idea of allowing Daz+ "New Release" items to qualify as "buy ins" for special deals and discounts , particularly as their prices have gone up as well.

I also brought up having the coupons catch up with the times  and b increased to 8$ (for he PA coupon set the minimum purchase at 20$)  These have been at 6$ since Daz changed from vouchers to coupons which I believe was in 2012).

  • A yearly membership would be a huge step in the right direction - my platinum is set to expire next week, so may have to follow through on my intent to unsubscribe even though they hint at the return of a yearly membership.

I put in a word for the folks who got poor offers for their remaining Daz Plus months to convert to Premier. I'm curious about a Premier annual plan, but wouldn't want a repeat of the Daz Plus offers for annual subbed Premier folks if Daz ever created a SuperPremier tier.

I got the email so atleast one was able to swim that far. Check your spam/junk folder incase it got snagged there. Email subject was "Daz 3D Wants to Hear From You" and it was sent from the sales mailbox.

If DAZ starts to listen to their customers, it is definitely a step in the right direction. Let's keep fingers crossed that the result will be positive.

As a frequent buyer, a Premier member or whatever ~~~ the latest time when I received a survey from sales was in Jan of last year. Thanks for saving my time. devil

    I got one.
Don't worry, I lobbed more than an earful back over the Atlantic at them.
If they read it, I think they'll get the gist that I'm a little cheesed off.

Maybe it was intercepted. if you see it lying on the ground under a tree with an apparent koala sitting on a branch above - don't lean over to pick it up!

That's odd because DAZ seems to sell lots of flotation products? blush

I find it interesting that the survey comes after they made all the changes.  Sad really.

I'm pretty shure there was a survey before that. The result is the Premier Membership.

And I don't understand what "Cam Fox" says: I got the remaining time of my DAZ+ Membership AND an additional month = that was a pretty good offer. (For remaining 5 Months DAZ+ I got 6 Months Premier = in my eyes that is a good deal).
