OOT's dforce SBH doesn't simulate

bought the Voluminous Wavy Bob Hair Strand-Based G8 by OOT a while ago and couldn't get a working simulation for this hair product.
So I downloaded it again and hope the issue might be fixed by now, but NO.
The simulation works fine on G9, but not on G8 as promised in the product description.
Hope to have G8 dforce simulation for this hair soon.

    It dosn't seem to recommend simulating anyway. What happens when you try with Genesis 8, as opposed to Genesis 9?

    Simulation works with G9, with G8 it does not work.
    With only G8, I get an error message, that there is no simulation item in the scene.
    The advertisment clearly indicates, that I can have a dForce simulation with the G8 version.

    And this is the Genesis 8 hair, which has G8 at the end of its name, not the Genesis 9 hair (which isn't labelled) converted to Genesis 8? It appears to be set to be dynamic, and I don't get thaty error (I do get a failure, but I think that is driver-related).

    No, it is not converted to G8.
    It has been advertised as dforce hair for G9 AND G8F

    The product headline reads:
    "dForce Strand-Based Voluminous Wavy Bob Style Hair for Genesis 9 and 8 Female"
