Position of View Panels in Vertex Modeler

Can't believe I forgot this.  I am in the vertex modeler.  I want to use the 2-view panel side-by-side, but it is appearing top and bottom.  I have temporarily forgotten how to switch the view panel from side by side to top and bottom. And how to restore.

    Hi Diomede, I just opened Carrara to take a look.

    If I click on the two panel icon, the panels are above and below.  If I click again, they are side to side.

    Thanks,  I knew it was something simple.  How can I forget something like that?  I was pressing the Alt key and all sorts of other combinations.
