What would be great if we got a support for Generation 3 figures (the "Millenium" figures). An autofit feature for today´s figures. There where some fantastic outfits from Vendors like Uzilite, AwefulSoul (now Aeon Soul) etc. There are enough Iray shaders today to give them a good look. Alternate there could be skin shaders for the Millenium figures to use them in Iray to wear the outfits (but the other way round would be better).

You can get third generation clones for Genesis, then save the results as assets and AutoFit to a later Genesis.

Thank you very much, it worked!

Wait what? How do you do that? I tried saving older generation clothes that autofit to Genesis as .duf hoping they would then autofit to G2 or G3 but it didn't work. I know I probably did something wrong because I'm new to DS. Could someone explain how to do this? Thanks.

Autofit V4 item to Genesis.  Save as duf.

Load that duf on Genesis 2.  It should ask to autofit...again...choose Genesis, this time

Repeat for Genes 2 to Genesis 3.

I thought that's what I did, but with M4. I'll have to try again, thanks.

File>Save as>Support Assets>Figure Prop Asset is what I meant. In the options dialogue I'd make Author something like AutoFits and the product M4toGenesis or whatever, just to keep the converted stuff in a neat collection in the Data folder (these names determine the folder names in the Data folder).

Yes, as Richard Haseltine wrote you have to save the outfit as figure prop asset (but you must own the third generation clones for Genesis)
