Scaling issue with HDRI

Okay, I'm asking for help here. I'm trying to do a render in Iray using an HDRI I downloaded, but I can't figure out how to get it to scale properly for the G3F morphed character I'm working with. I've attached the render below.

I am not entirely sure because i dont have this HDRI. But the biggest problem with the HDRI is that the scaling of the character is based on location of the character within the scene. Most HDRI's assume that the character is in or close to the middle of the dome because thats where the picture was taken from. I am guessing but scaling the HDRI isnt an option because it just scales the dome. I would say scale the character keep lowering the scale of the figure in the parameters tab and than moving it to ground with CTRL D. I am not quite sure that works.

Ok i actually did have this HDRI so i messed with it a bit. The thing is this. The relative position of the camera is somewhat static in relation to the dome. If you load in a character default and move the view of the camera just up and down it just moves the figure up down making them appear like they are miniature or giant. Tilting the camera moves the figure back and forth in the scene. but they get smaller as they move away from the camera. I did a small test render so you could see what i did. In this I loaded Vicky 6 and posed her. Then i moved her -750 on the Z axis. I than raised the camera up just enough to get the door in the frame they way i wanted. I then tilted the camera down so vicky's feet were on the floor in front of the door. Then i scaled her up to 165% so she had a good height relative to the door. Your going to have to experiment with your figure because i dont know the dimensions. HDRI's can be tricky because its a 3d picture. Try not to mess too much with the zoom on the camera from the default or you run into other problems with the figure even though zooming into the scene with no figure loaded seems to do nothing because the picture dimensions dont change.

P.S. It looks based on your image that all you really need to do is select the character in the scene tab. Go to parameters go to General settings and expand them and choose the Scale and just lower it until she has a good height relative to the door.
That's a huge 10 year old. Try scaling her down by 60%
under your render settings go to environments, under dome mode, click & change it to (Finite Sphere), Next scroll down until you see dome scale multiplier
in that setting you can re-scale the HDRi. That one scene you are working on, the one you got from HDR labs, I would try setting it to around 5 maybe even 3 instead of 100 I think you will see that will fit better. :)
Thanks for that Ivy i guess i did the same but the more complicated instead of just doing that. I didnt want to confuse the person but i had forgotten about doing this!

Your welcome. Sometimes its the simple things that are hardest to remember... :)
