Well, this was just a suggestion, nothing else smiley Other thing, the image shows Ava, a selfmade character with 20% of Bethany, the rest of the bodyshape is complete Zev0 also with the bend controls. Ava is totally designed with Zev0 morphs what was neccassary because Ava is not one of these slim skinny models you can get at the store, she is chubby and has some pounds on the hips. This character works for nearly every pose without huge adjustments (just gravity adjustments for breasts and so) and it was difficult to create it based on a G3F figure.

Is there a reason why Glute Control isn't available through Connect?

  • Sfariah DSfariah D Posts: 26,288

I like it but will have to wait to get it.

  • I just purchased Glute Control for G3F but I am having difficulty figuring out how to use the Puppeteer function. I can use the sliders within the pose control parameters but whenever I go to smart content and double click on Puppeteer it seems to bring up a dialogue box for just a second or two indicating it is loading but then nothing happens once it disappears. I do not get that 4 directional box I saw in the promo video. Am I missing a step here or need to change something in my viewport? Obviously I am doing something wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kickfan.

same problem than sdrake. glute and breast control are installed,i see them on the library.

i look on the video and i see that i don't have the same directory on control parameter.

glute repertory  (and chest for the breats control) don't appear on the list under parameter/control.

Go to window/panes and open puppeteer pane, then click on the product puppeteer icons. It will now load the product presets into puppeteer. Change mode from edit to preview and you are ready to go. If the puppeteer pane is not open you will not see puppeteer or the loaded product presets.

No idea actually. Can you ask Daz to look into this as they should make sure products appear within the right install structures on their system.

  • Thanks man, I just found the puppeteer function under windows as you mentioned. Have not tried it out yet given the hour here and the need to get to sleep soon but will see if it works tomorrow as you demonstrated in the demo clip. Thank you for very much for the reply and the help, much appreciated.

Sweet. Glad you're sorted. Don't worry, soon you will get the hang of things:)

  • Why does Glute control reset all the figure paramaters? I even had them all locked and my girl 7 went back to plain genesis 3 the second i clicked?

Can you explain this a bit more in detail? What do you mean by locked?

    This is what support said:

"Usually there is a product specific reason why something isn't available through connect. There is probably something particular about that product, though I couldn't tell you what it is."

That's why I thought to post here, since I can't find anything in the product that would prevent it from being Connect compatible.  Maybe you should contact DAZ, as they're more likely to listen to a PA than just a customer.

    I will ask them.

Can we have a bend control for the shoulders and arms as the one for the legs? Means bend control for "upper arm - lower arm bends" and for "upper upper arms/shoulders - torso (armpits front/back)".

I actually have that drafted. Just need time to work on it. On other projects at the moment.

Here just two images showing the areas that need some sort of adjustment morphs inner upper arm and armpits back, side and front and for left and right seperate and both together. Automatic or manually. Maybe some shape morphs would also be a good thing for the arms, you have one for the upper arms (upper arms width) a second one for the sides would also be helpfull I think even you can combine armsize and width morphs.

The problems you get if you create characters more chubby than these slim model characters.

well it is Bethany at 20% plus bodysize at 40% and also 20% shoulder width from your shape shift, the arms size I have reduced (20%) but also at 20% Bodysize you got the problem at this zones, you allways have such problems if your character is a bit more "chubby" than these skinny store models. Bodysize at zero is no option because then the characters size do not fit to furnitures (chairs and stuff) the characters you get at the store are not realistic based on bodysize in my opinion. Unfortunatelly shoulder width is no real option it helps a bit if you also reduce the armssize (which is oversized if using the bodysize morph)

Have also used your shape width adjust morph at -40% to widen the character but that is not the problem, the problem is the bodysize morph.

forgot: body hight at 40% but that has also nearly no influence, it is the body size morph but you

the thing is that the shoulder width morphs (yours and also the DS morph) widen not just the shoulders but also the lats so you can`t move the arms apart from the torso to ajdust that. It helps just a bit. And with the lats morph you also can adjust just a bit. There is a product I have that has armpit adjustment morphs and I use it normaly but these are shape and not pose morphs and the adjustment is for both sides and not seperately.

here are two images, one without the armpit adjustment and one with armpit adjustment at 100% just to give an idea? Needed also would be an inner upper arm adjustment morph.

And as written this morph if for both sides, it would be more helpfull to have also such morph for each side seperately.

well right know I am testing a view poses with upper arm y scale at 90% and I have make also some tests with clothing items to see how this work.

What would be helpfull would be a shape shift add on for the arms with morphs like for the legs. arms inner, arms outer, arms width, arms depth, arms apart (without influence on the lats, or torso sides) and so on.
