crashing

I downloaded the beta because I have had problems with the system crashing at various times--there seems to be no particular activity causing it. Yesterday with the beta DAZ crashed when trying to render and then today it crashed 5 times in a row after I opened a scene and then tried to open the pose/animate window. Is this a known issue?

    What are your system specs, processor, RAM and Operating System?

    Have you looked in the log file, Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File?

    As soon as I posted I realized that would be the first question! Apologies!
    I'm using a 2008 IMac with 2G of memory running 10.8. The age of the computer and small amount of memory could be an issue, of course. However, when DAZ is working there seems to be no problem on that score.

    The messages in the Log File that might refer to the crashes is: WARNING: QCoreApplication::postEvent: Unexpected null receiver

    But I have no idea what that is telling me!
