DS 4.5 opening old files?

I got an email from DAZ alerting me to the 4.5 upgrade, and when I went to the link and read the info there, it had a blurb something to the effect that 4.5 now creates files in a new format, not compatible w/4.0 -. I think it also said that 4.5 wouldn't open files from previous versions, but I might be wrong about that - my memory is awfully old...

Been trying to find that webpage but no luck yet - I'll post it if I find it...

    DS 4.5 can open files from older versions, but earlier versions cannot open the new .duf format
