    Cute! heart

  • Just a little note: The pose transfer scripts I wrote to transfer poses V3->G8F and G8F->V3 also seem to work with A3 substituting for V3. These scripts are available in the freebie forum. It may help to widen the range of poses available to A3.

    Regards,

    Richard

    Testing some new hair.

    Aww, she so cute!!!

Oh, yeah, and Solara doesn't feel like she has to wear a paper bag over her head any more.

Saw this on Deviantart. Aiko 3 Reimagined for G8F

Did a quick comparison, the body still has that iconic Gen8 look but I getting some definite Thorne/sarsa vibes from the head.

Not bad, I think it makes a good addition to Gen8.

Definitely. The new shilouette is similar to the original, although there is more definition overall, particularly in the limbs. And I doubt anyone still wants those balloon shoulders.

It might look closer scaled down to the original size.

And as for the Thorne/Sarsa vibe; my impression is that not a lot of people used unadulterated base A3 in any case. They almost always added a character morph, and it was usually a Thorne/Sarsa one.

I copied across A3 to G8 via G1 and GenX and Zerv's transfer utility.

I don't use on own but combine

Posted these to the Anime thread a few months ago, guess I'll put them here too.

I could use some more stripe patterns, maybe something more geometric or runic looking for these ladies.

A project I was working on that has kinda stalled. The textures are from scratch except for a few photo references, not sure I like how I have the hands.
Ignore the head, I haven't really done anything with it yet, just blocking some stuff in for later.

  • That looks really interesting, both the morph and the outfit.

    Birchbark dryad.

    @Faeryl Womyn

Well the outfit is the free Tsuta A3 type D. I'm still working on the morph as well, trying to combine and balance the beauty of the human form with the beauty of a tree is an ongoing battle.

...Or an Aspen, depending on your preference/region.

What is she? (Presuming she is a she.)

    I like the skin textures.

    Thanks! She is a Dryad.

A Dryad is a tree nymph or tree spirit in Greek mythology. Also the term Dryad won't get me in any legal trouble.

Dryad's are mainly depicted as being female, and Aspen trees do have distinct male and female individuals, so I have no qualms with her being female.

  • I'm loving this thread!

Here's an image I used Aiko 3 for whilst learning about objects as light sources using one of the great Daz tutorial videos as well as trying out the sci-fi corridor.
It's been about 15 years since I last played with Poser 4 but I'm glad I can still access and use pretty much my whole figure catalogue of items - including my best friend Zot!

This year has had many down sides but one up side is that working from home gives me time to get to grips with all of this again!

  • Can't grab the Tsuka, keeps bringing up a dead link once I get to the right page. Use to be able to download through web archive but on that outfit it won't work.
