    I just found a square veil for V4 that covers the face from the eyes down which might work when combined with another mask. Even if it's not useful for me, it could be handy for creating other superheroes.

    Hi there RKane. There's a free 3DS Max file out there based on the DCAU Watchtower satellite. Which version were you interested in? There's been plenty of redesigns in the comics, animations, video games and all. They're all pretty standard sci-fi designs, easy to kitbash.     Oh, by the way, that was my first post... long time lurker and occasional store buyer, hence I've had an account for many, many years. Anyone knows how to edit that terrible, seemingly auto-generated user name that I don't remember choosing? Have been looking around my profile options and I'm unable to find this setting. Thanks in advance

    Pop over here      Make sure you just edit the username  (which will have been auto generated from you email when the forum software changed)  and not the email address itself

    Well, .max files I don't think can be converted, IIRC those can only be read by 3DMax itself, since they're scene-files, but .3ds files can be converted by various, free web-based convert-to-OBJ services.  I might have those backwards, though.

    Well, .max files I don't think can be converted, IIRC those can only be read by 3DMax itself, since they're scene-files, but .3ds files can be converted by various, free web-based convert-to-OBJ services.  I might have those backwards, though.

    My bad. Indeed, max. scenes can't be simply converted, but opened in the program itself, then isolate the props you want and export them as obj. Sorry about that. Don't know why someone would share something so relatively simple in such a format but unfortunately they did.

    I'd love to convert it to obj. if I could but sadly I'm currently unable to - I had a Max license for a while but that was some years ago. About the watchtower interior, now I've seen the post you opened asking about it. I concur with the general consensus, it's really easy to kitbash with good results. I had some free spaceship that came with full interior that was made of a ton of separate parts and was of such high quality that it was hard to believe that it was shared for free, but it's stored in the HD of a desktop with a broken power unit that I need to repair and I can't remember where I got it from originally. The command bridge was HUGE, in the shape of a very detail half-dome, and there was platforms, stairs, handrails, chairs, consoles... it looked a lot like the MCU helicarriers' command room actually. I'll do some diggin' and try to remember where I got it from, and get back to you if I do.

    Hey everybody. I'm having a problem, I'm hoping that you folks can help me out.
    I pride myself on always properly crediting the creators of the many wonderful freebies I'm using. But because of a system crash, I lost all the relevant information. In other words, I still have the freebies, but I don't know anymore which ones were made by which author, and distributed through which platform.

    There is one specific product - a versatile superhero mask for Genesis 2 that can become a Daredevil, Captain America, Bane, Flash, Batman, Deadpool, and other masks. I can't for the life of me remember where I have it from, I only know that it's a freebie. I can't seem to find it on shareCG, renderosity, or deviant art.

    Do any of you folks know it? Who made it, and where is it available? I really want to credit the author properly when I'm using it. Screenshot below. Thank you!

    So I'm trying to do Darkseid but I can't find a good mask/helmet for him. ANyone have any ideas or know where I can look?

    JoeQuick has an older set of props/morphs/kit to accompany this set, and designed for the same figure.  Michael 3 is the only other figure that can use Freak3 morphs.

    That works for me but I am not sure how the powers that be would feel about advertising for stuff on another site. What you MAY want to do is make freebies every once in a while, refer people back to your DA page for that freebie and they will see the pay stuff when they go. Just a suggestion. I am not an admin here or anything.

    Also, if you don't mind, I'd like your opinion on something.

    As I've gained experience in the production of my assorted costumes, I've been toying more and more with making props and maybe even buildings to sell officially via DAZ3D and/or Renderosity. As someone who's seen my products...do you think I've got what it takes?

    Oh yeah. I mean, I have not seen your buildings but I very much enjoy your costumes.

    I used the Prime outfit to kitbash my own heroes together.

    I would suggest embracing the G8 series as there seems to be a lack of stuff for it but you can easily make stuff for G3 series and update it to G8 due to backwards compatibility. We have TONS of stuff for M4, V4 and even Genesis but not much for the generations after.  Embracing G3 and G8 may mean filling a niche for new contenbt people are itching for. I know I would love to see some new superhero stuff at DAZ as it has been a while. :)

    Well, I haven't released much in the way of buildings. I have released a couple props, such as a freebie Mjolnir and Silver Surfer surboard.

    As for Prime, I am planning to do a G3M release. However...I'm toying with the idea of reworking the cape, since it's my first attempt at making a cape. Also, I'm waiting for when I have some extra cash to pick up the Sickle Rigging kit for G3M. I used the G3F version for my Jane Foster Thor's cape, and got excellent results.

    Hmm...I have seen tutorials for converting stuff to work with Genesis 8. Just been very busy and haven't gotten around to it. And yes, I'm well aware of the shortage of superhero stuff for the Genesis series. For example, I know that TerryMcG is the go-to for this sort of thing, but he's glued to V4 and M4 and shows no sign of changing with the times.

    I hear he is thinking of updating an item or two to G2F thru Forender.com but I wouldn't bet on it. I LOVE his stuff too but he is stuck in M4/V4 mode. I love what MightyMite is doing at Rendo with Superhero stuff and they are getting PLENTY of my money because of it. I just wish DAZ would wake up and start outputting stuff for the Super-Hero set. *shrug* Maybe there is no market, but I know where I spend MY money. :) *shrug*

    Well, now that Riversoft and Sickleyield are releasing their converter for Generation 4 clothing...well, it's something to think about.
