I dialogue is a bit to hard to follow for some characters, but I like the look of the animation. Where are the Fantistic Four at yet?

Actually the events of this movie are based on the narrative
of Marvel's 'Fantastic Four' issue s#601-#604 by Jonathan Hickman
    published in 2012.
as well as the "Origin of Galactus" re-published in 1997.
I have 50 minutes done, locked in a Final cut pro master edit file
The "Origin of Galactus" part is done
    Now on to the...............wink

Ah, by then comics were too expensive for my budget. I was introduced to Galactus in Fantastic Four #173 in 1976.

Did you ever read any of the Fantasic Four comics featuring Annihilus? Example, Giant-Size Fantastic Four #6, 1975. That creature was freaky, like a mowed-down grasshopper reincarnated for revenge for it terrible death in the blades of lawnmowers.

Look forward to seeing future episodes.

Indeed Annihilus leads a Massive Creature swarm in  the " negative zone" called the Annihilus wave"
it was featured prominently in the 2006 Limited edition "event" series
    Called the "Annihilation Saga"
A massive universal crisis series featuring the Nova core ,Drax ,Thanos
the silver surfer, Ronan the accuser and of course ..Galactus

    Thank you!!
I hope to finally finish this Film this year and release it
    online.

The advantage of using Marvel Comics as source material
is that  some of my Dialogue, Screenplay and storyboards are done for me.
Here are some screen caps from the Origin Story segment of the movie
next to the actual source panels from the comics .

I hope that you will include a close-captioned version for those of us that can't figure out some of the more difficult accents without a bit of help.

  • Having looked tonight at your new clip and again at the previous one I'm very impressed both by the work and by the fact that you've stuck at this possibly through times when the task you set yourself may have seemed overwhelming.

The visuals through this whole work are of the highest standard with effects that I can only guess at how they were done.  The whole Sci-fi world you've built is convincing and I guess some details must have taken tons of work (eg the white computer screen text seen here and there) as well as a whole raft of visual and sound effects

Overall, many scenes have a blue cast with grey/silver metallic shiny features giving a consistent look but you get in nice touches of red or orange and have warm-coloured lights reflected from objects.  It looks good, in other words.

The sequences following the 'Settlements' title were intriguing because I guess they are the culmination of the entire tale.  The cinematic build-up music (for want of a better term) in that section helped to give a nice flow to all the different happenings and, even though it seems to be the conclusion of your work, by presenting it here it is a nice teaser.

    Well done.

@Marcus ....many thanks sir. It's posts like yours that make me want to Aspire to even higher standards. This film Will be completed by late December with total running time of over 90 minutes ( excluding a "making of"featurett) @nonesuch. Two words my friend...... Frontier Justice.
  • I'm sure, Wolf, that many others out there are following with interest and are also impressed.  Forums are for me a 'reading room' much of the time and I think that's how it is for many others.  It's actually a strange interaction of strangers but I think many of us gain huge amounts of knowledge and enjoyment from what others are good enough to show, whether we comment or not.

It will be interesting to see how you present your completed work - it's going to be ready at just the time of year when many will have holidays and gifts and will be caught up in general December mayem.   It would be a terrible shame if half your audience was temporarily distracted. But I'm sure you will have it all planned.  Good luck with what is still to be done.
