Hiya. I thought I would start a thread about my newest passion, music! I hope I can get a lot of people participating in this, because I go around places and get people to listen to various awesome artists that they had no idea existed before. Even genres they were unaware of.

The world needs to be flooded with awesome in my opinion. So I hope you will help me do it by listening and talking about these artists and suggesting some awesome one's yourself. (And if you happen to like my music as well and like to give me a follow on spotify, that's cool too. My artist name is Silent Echoes. I need 250 followers to become a Verified Artist!)

Personally, I love spotify because of the playlists. They are so useful!

Here is some of my current favs:

Chill and Epic: http://open.spotify.com/user/silentechoesmusic/playlist/3KqNizC3yhDC8lxUscJycl

Upbeat and Gritty: http://open.spotify.com/user/silentechoesmusic/playlist/1jwcekw5eGdJosY1tfGNIt

Playlists

Let me know any cool music songs that you have discovered!  :D

  • Hi Tako,

I'm producing my own music also.  I'm currently using Ableton Live with some auxilliary programs to produce Jazztronica, Hip Hop and Berlin Minimal. I'm moving towards producing a slide show type of video with images produced in DAZ Studio and then producing the music to accompany the images.

Nice! I did a couple videos like that with FL Studio. It was fun but at the time I kind of sucked at the music portion. Now that I'm actually good I should probably do another video...

I hear Ableton is pretty good. Maybe I will check it out someday. :)
