    Very helpful utility:

    Doesn't install, just run .exe

    Doesn't run under OSX either......

I can't test this one: some say it works, some not for OSX

A few old pictures I did.
Does anyone know of any good purple/lavender skin textures for V4? I need an exotic skin texture.

I would personlly just mess with the diffuse and other colour options for the skin surfaces. Mayb use the bumpmap in place of the diffuse map

I'll work on packaging them up, after I finish the current project...should I do a 4 and a 4.5 set (a dsf and a duf)? Or just one?

I've still got some tweaking on settings for the textures, but that shouldn't take too long.

Just making them a .dsf from 4.5 doesn't necessarily mean they'll work in 4.0
The only one I'm aware of that works was redone by somebody who has both 4.0 and 4.5 on his computer [he knows how, we don't]
"pretty please" .dsf 'in English' ... not chicken scratch.

Somebody was looking for this bridge.

In looking over various reference pics there appears to be a couple of floor textures ... either used or from the design.

Anyhow ... if you have money to spend on unlicensed merchandise:
    http://www.the3dstudio.com/product_details.aspx?id_product=346272

He also has several rooms available for the dough. Lots of dough.

But before anybody goes and gets upset now ... he made it in Blender.
Couldn't pay me to take to make it to work in D/S.

I post the link so people can look at the relevant images possibly as an aid for whatever assistance they may provide.

'for next time' ... seems to me somebody was wanting a pic of this item.

    Thank you!

    You're welcome ;-)

    ....

    And now ... another table!

A 'bar table' [bears some resemblance to one found in Quark's Bar DS9]

Tweak as necessary for the light panels ... shaders seem to work well with almost any uvmap.

Made the open grid [great place to pour unwanted drinks eh?!] with included textures.
Might need to be tweaked in Poser for the proper effect.

    ....

Question: Where does one put their feet when they're sitting at that table? There's no room under it.

    Got the answer!!!

:-) minor problem in finding these sites is one gets lost looking at all those nice large reference pics!

As some have noted, yes I've done a little "house keeping" ... nothing is lost don't panic.
With the better reference images I've found recently and the cooler weather around I'm hoping to remake some of my earlier models ... make some sets out of some of them or whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Some items [like various textures] do get retired. IF Hexagon can be coaxed into behaving itself long enough to finish a project or two ... I am hoping to release some nice prezzies in due course. Hope everybody has a good sense of humour and likes 'surprizes' ...

Back to base, here's a PD release of one digi texture. Some scifi/spy/adventure films have these security panels that light up when activated. This texture reminded me of them hence they are called "on" and "off".
    Enjoy as you please.

Hey all just wanted to share a bridge that i've been working on, making it in blender. cookie goes to anyone who knows what episode it is from.
was thinking it could easily be made to fit as a ships computer control from, or be remade / re textured to fit other races.

this set also appeared as the ships galley in ST:TUDC

Tech question. I have a model of a crane. built with primatives. Right now, when I turn it, it turns like a revolving door- anchored in the middle. How do I move that "origin" to the end with the control booth?

The bridge by andrewbrian looks to me to be the one from TNG "Redemption Part II."

Use the Joint Editor Tool and the Tool Tab. For Parameter, select the "Center/End Points" and use the diels there to adjust the center point location. You should be able to adjust the rotation order as well if you want.

I need some input please. My captain lost her hair in the current storyline and is currently growing it back. I'm debating between 2 hairstyles. Comments?

    Both look good
I kinda like the curls but think there is a bit to much forehead showing with them
The other however looks fine regarding the fore head
