Always so hard to choose, because there's so many great entries. I'll vote for:
Entry: #5
Title: Sorrow
Artist: Namtar3D
Entry Type: Photoreal Still
(I'm sucker for Lord of the Rings, so this hit a soft spot for me)
Entry: #11
Title: Smooth Sliding
Artist: Vyusur
Entry Type: Photoreal Still
(Point Break, one of my favorite films when I was a teen. Hollywood remade it using cars and called it Fast and Furious, which wasn't nearly as good :) )
Entry: # 1
Title: Keep Holding On
Artist: Bunyip02
Entry Type: Photoreal Still
(I'm already a huge fantasy fan, and I love the aeriel viewpoint. He's pretty high up, so I hope the rider has a good grip and doesn't fall; otherwise it will be 'Valar Morghulis' for him... :) )
I also freely admit I know nothing about art, but Headwax's entry totally looks like a painting, that is just awesome work and I wanted to call it out. Mind-blowing.
The 34th Carrara Challenge is completed. Winners announced.
Congratulations to all -
Stezza - Best Artist Participation (cumulative among all of an artist's entries): $50 towards DAZ 3D owned item(s) - Stezza Namtar3D - Best Photorealistic Render (still image, yes, postwork is allowed): $50 towards DAZ 3D owned item(s) - Namtar3D Headwax - Best Non-photorealistic or Stylized Render (still image, yes, postwork is allowed): $50 towards DAZ 3D owned item(s) - Headwax Th3digit - ** Best Carrara Animation ** : $45 towards DAZ 3D owned item(s) -- (this replaces Best Demonstration of Theme just for this month because of unique self-selected muses) - Th3digit
Stezza - MMoir has selected Stezza to receive one item from his store. Thank you, Mike Moir, for sponsoring this challenge.
Well done winners and also ALL entrants! Brilliant host... we are so lucky. The competitions get more and more interesting and showcase talent and techniques that are SOOOOO useful!! Silene
The results have been reported to Daz. Watch your accounts, but give them a few business days. I'm almost positive that no one will be processing on a Sunday.
It may have been exceeding my authority because my tenure as Proconsul expired on August 18th, but I told Daz that we would like to dedicate the next challenge to Cripeman. It is not my idea, but I presumed that there would be no objections.

Thank you Diomede for a very cool theme. And congrats to the winners. Looking forward to what (Stezza?) will come up with in the next Challenge!
Congratzies!!
Hey Stezza is stealing my lines!
Nice job Diomede and thank you Mmoir and daz!!
Really good to see the quality work in these challenges and seeing those who contribute to them growing so quickly in their skills.
the pc forum running a challenge accepts carrara.
Anyone interested in hosting the next challenge?
I suck as host, but can help to suggest the theme?
I think one of the conditions could be to use at least 1 of Cripeman's tutorials. (I mean, 1 technique from the tutorials).

So, out of the four winners, not a single one is able to host? That is unfortunate.
Dedicating the next Challenge to Mr Cripe seems like a good idea. Maybe someone who knew him well - unlike myself - will step up and host.
